The Faralya Hotel, Yuva’s sister establishment, is about 2 miles (10 mins drive or 40 mins walk ) from Yuva. Set in the mountains, away from towns and resorts and cooled by the shade of pine and olive trees, The Faralya affords magnificent views of the Aegean coast.
Live a healthy lifestyle in breathtaking surroundings. Relax on a sun lounger by the hotel swimming pool and soak up the sun, walk in the mountains or to a secluded beach, or take the local bus to the ‘blue lagoon’ Ölüdeniz (about 20 minutes drive). Optional activities available from Ölüdeniz include, scuba diving, paragliding, boat trips, archaeological excursions...
The Main Building has large, twin/double-bedded rooms, triple rooms and multi-bedded rooms. Each room has an ensuite shower and w.c. Some rooms have balconies with sea views. All rooms have air-conditioning in summer and heating in winter.
The Small Building has smaller rooms, all with ensuite facilities. Most rooms have views over the garden and are air-conditioned.
Turkey is famous for its range of vegetarian fare. Mercimek corbasi thick red lentil soup is a favourite. Meze is the collective name given to a wide range of small dishes, many of them vegetarian, i.e. biber dolmasi green peppers stuffed with rice raisins and pine nuts, sigara boregi cheese filled pastry rolls, saksuka aubergine, tomatoes and hot peppers in olive oil... Our Turkish hosts prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Packed lunches are available on request. A vegan option is available, if requested with your booking. The dining area is a vine-covered terrace, with views of the sea. Breakfast consists of: village baked fresh bread, local mountain honey, yoghurt, marmalade, eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, coffee, tea, or herb tea. The Faralya focuses on veggie and vegan food, but is not exclusively vegetarian. The kitchen is very hygienic, producing good local village-style food. Fish and meat are cooked in a separate area from the main kitchen. The fruit and vegetable gardens around the hotel are cultivated organically.
Half board includes breakfast and dinner every day. Lunches are available to order (2 courses approx £7 - £8). Full board includes breakfast and dinner every day, and lunch on 5 days. Drinks are not included, and are available at extra cost.
